These Simulators are used in product verification instead of real mobile phones and real core networks. The SIMS responsibility includes development of internal solutions for Simulators, including our main simulator CSIM FsUE NR and sourcing of Simulators from external vendors.We are now looking for an engaged Layer 1 developers to join team based in Poland! The team will work on development of a powerful UE Simulator meeting the needs of 6G.**Please note:** This role is based in **Kraków** and follows a **hybrid work model**, requiring on-site presence **at least 3 days per week**. By applying, you acknowledge and accept this requirement.**What you will do:**- Be part of an agile team that contributes to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator- Work in an exciting technical area, supporting Ericsson internal users with an important product for 6G- Have the possibility to drive innovation and make new insights reality- Get the opportunity to work with everything needed in a team: analysis, system design, pre-development and implementation in small increments and ensuring short feedback loops**The skills you bring:**- Entry level software engineering skills in C/C++ (nice to have: python and/or Java).- At least basic knowledge of telecommunication standards and protocols.- Knowledge of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware components specifications will be a big advantage.- Skills in developing test cases to validate the simulator’s accuracy and reliability.- A spirit of positiveness and creativeness with a can-do-attitude.- The skills to be ready to explore new opportunities as well as continuously learn and improve together with the team and really enjoy coding.- MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge- Speaking and writing skills in English is must.**About this opportunity:**We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join Ericsson as a Developer.
