Job summary

A game development studio in Kraków is looking for a 3D Technical Animator to create high-quality rigging and skinning for characters. 3D Technical Animator

Responsibilities
  • Creating high quality rigging and skinning.
  • Character skinning with close attention to physical deformation.
  • Physics simulation on cloth, hair and other physics items.
  • Create and support tools that improve our animation creation/editing workflows.
  • Bring innovation and resolution to technical problems and challenges throughout production - from content creation through to the game.
Requirements
  • Ability to create tools and write scripts to help improve the animation pipeline.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 art production pipelines.
  • Experience with Maya and Motion Builder, specializing in rigging/skinning.
  • Python Scripting Experience.Knowledge of facial rigs for games, television or film.
Nice to have
  • Good understanding of anatomy and character movement.
  • Unreal Engine locomotion system setup (blueprints, anim. blueprints, control rigs blueprints etc.).
  • Knowledge of current technology and trends in video games.
