Job summary

Bowen Health in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist to work in a high-acuity program providing supervision and assisted care to adults in a 24-hour setting. You will advocate, teach, monitor, and model skills to promote self-sufficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include case management, meal assistance, transportation, and community outings while maintaining patient safety and collaborating with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 undergraduate credit hours or High School Diploma with 5 years of prior experience, or EMT/QMA/CNA/CHW certifications.
• CPI, CPR and First Aid certifications preferred/post-hire requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record checks.
• Must be a minimum 21 years of age; Bowen vehicle operation requires 25+.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and skill building services to patients.
• Transport patients to appointments or community outings.
• Monitor patient safety and use de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Update clinical staff on observations and medication concerns.
• Maintain CPI, CPR and First Aid certifications.
