A leading university in Poland is seeking a PhD student for a project on multifunctional membranes. The role involves preparation and testing of MOF-COFs, and requires an MSc in relevant fields. The PhD student will receive a scholarship for 48 months with a starting salary of approx. 3700 PLN monthly. The expected start date is 02.03.2026. Moreover, the Candidate must meet the National Science Centre (NCN) criteria for PhD student position, i.e. the Candidate must successfully complete the recruitment procedure to the Doctoral School and on the envisaged starting date (02.03.2026) must be a PhD student at the Doctoral School.
Research will be realized within the framework of NCN OPUS-29 project No. UMO-2025/57/B/ST8/01151 entitled “Multifunctional Next-Generation Membranes with Integrated MOF–COF Hybrids for Simultaneous Filtration, Adsorption, and Photodegradation”. The key responsibilities include preparation of MOF-COFs and membranes; determination of photoactivity of MOF-COFs, investigations on the application of polymeric membranes modified with MOF-COF hybrids in PMR and sequential adsorption-photocatalytic systems; preparation of publications, dissemination of project results.
