Job summary

HugoBank in Karachi, Pakistan seeks a Reconciliation & Settlement Officer to manage daily end-to-end transaction matching and net settlement across digital channels. The role emphasizes zero variance in settlement positions and SBP compliance.

You will coordinate with Finance and Technology teams, handle data validation, exception management, and prepare regulatory reports. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 2–5 years in payment operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in payment operations, reconciliation or settlement.
• Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting and GL mapping.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end daily reconciliation across digital payment channels.
• Identify and investigate exceptions, missing transactions, and duplicates.
• Prepare net settlement summaries and GL entries with zero variance.
• Submit SBP regulatory reports and ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external payment networks for settlements.
