Rija Media is an established and growing ecommerce agency based in Manchester UK. Providing clients with website design, development and digital marketing services since 2003. The agency has a well-established, thriving and ever-growing client base, with exciting growth plans for the future.

THE ROLE

We are currently developing a new system to sell Wordpress websites - our own website is developed in Wordpress and involves a large number of plugins to provide clients with either a bespoke WP website on its own domain or a cheaper version which will be part of a WP Multisite installation.

We require an experienced Wordpress developer who is able to design & produce Wordpress sites quickly - the successful candidate must have extensive experience of all aspects of Wordpress installation, configuration & maintenance. Experience of Woocommerce, booking plugins, email marketing and other CMS and ecommerce platforms is also desirable.

We want people to buy a website package from our website (using Woocommerce) - this automatically generates a portal page for the customer where they can upload the content for their website. This is already implemented & just needs more testing. Once the customer uploads their content we wish to create a website quickly for them.

We also need to build a knowledgebase & support ticketing system - we have the required plugins which need to be installed & configured.

In addition, we need to create a set of templates using Beaver Builder which will serve as the basis of the websites we are selling (the websites will be editable by the client using Beaver Builder front-end).

You will need to be able to work independently, be experienced in configuring WordPress & plugins, be proficient in HTML & CSS and have excellent English skills.

We need applicants who will be able to take a brief and work alongside us using their own initiative to get this project working as soon as possible.

HOW YOU WILL WORK?

Initially the role involves joining us to build our own website - there is still a lot of work involved finishing and testing our platform. Once the Rija Media website is up & running the successful candidate will be sent website collateral (images, text etc) and a simple brief outlining what the website needs to achieve. Once this has been received you will log into a pre-installed base version of Wordpress & you will be expected to make a good quality responsive website to fulfil the client's requirements.

ABOUT YOU

You will work from your own home/office. You must have internet, a PC, telephone line and working space. Tell us about the Wordpress projects you have done so far - which page builders, templates, plugins, ecommerce platforms etc that you are familiar with.
