Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Windows virtualization.
• Proficient in configuring virtual switches and failover clustering.
• Experience with storage provisioning (iSCSI/NFS) and Windows updates.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Windows Virtualization Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and support of Windows Server virtualization environments, primarily using Hyper-V. This role ensures high availability, performance, and scalability of virtualized infrastructure in line with organizational standards.

Configure networking, virtual switches, VM templates, and set up failover clustering. Responsible for storage provisioning (iSCSI/NFS), Windows updates, group policies, and VM automation.

Implement VM backup/restore solutions; Monitor system performance and health; Troubleshoot VM issues; Apply Windows updates per compliance

DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking

iSCSI, NFS, VHDX, VM Snapshots

System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) (optional but preferred)

Experience with Windows licensing (KMS, MAK)

Scripting in PowerShell for automation

Other Details:

Work Timings: Mon - Fri 9AM- 6PM

Experience: 5 Years or above
