Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in stock ordering and lead mass merchandising in the department. You will manage stock levels, ensure planogram compliance, and drive efficiency to support sales targets.

The role covers overnight operations, shelf presentation, QA checks, FIFO compliance, and professional attire per guidelines, with focus on maintaining high standards in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation or equivalent degree is required.
• Strong stock and merchandising knowledge is preferred.
• Understanding of planograms and shelf management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Report to the CEM and assist in stock ordering and maintaining optimal stock levels in the department.
• Lead the team of Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management, and maintaining department cleanliness.
• Drive productivity improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist the FM in achieving the department's sales targets.
• Manage the department during overnight operations in accordance with DSO (Dark Store Operations) protocols and ensure the department is fully ready before store opening.
• Ensure proper product presentation in accordance with the Planogram.
• Ensure secondary displays are maintained as per BMPL guidelines.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs and comply with all relevant protocols and policies.
• Ensure discipline in timekeeping and professional attire in accordance with uniform guidelines.
• Conduct QA checks by following all defined protocols and checklists to consistently maintain quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain records of product expiries during and after stock deliveries and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed.
• Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
