Overview

Job Brief: Employment Type: Contract Based
Location: Remote, Full Time
Time Zone: CET (04 Hours Overlap)
Project Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Support Clients on projects or ongoing support services, taking care of web administrationactivities using IIS, .NET framework and core technologies, Nginx, Apache, PHP, etc.
• Support and maintain cloud-based web applications by leveraging a deep understanding of cloudresources, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Analyze, identify, and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance systemperformance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging Ansible, scripting (with PowerShell orBash) and other automation technologies.
• Implement security best practices for web applications, including least privileged, CIS benchmarkbaselining, vulnerability management, etc.
• Draft technical documentation on web services, related procedures, and operations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud trends, and new technologies, assessingtheir potential for adoption or integration.

Required Technical Skills

• Experience in systems administration (Linux or Windows) and Web Servers configuration andadministration (Nginx, Apache or IIS).
• Knowledge of Web authentication mechanisms and security best practices for web applications.
• Experience with Cloud-Based services (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers.
• Operation of CI/CD pipelines and git versioning systems.
• Hands-on experience on scripting and automation (PowerShell scripting, Bash, Go, Ansible, etc.).
• Previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
