Job description

The incumbent is responsible for safely and efficiently operating U.S. Government-owned or leased trucks, large cargo vehicles, or other vehicles. The incumbent is also responsible for the safe handling, transporting, and storage of both expendable and non-expendable items.

The incumbent is responsible for transporting expendable and non-expendable items to and from the warehouse to office buildings, residential properties, and other locations.

Qualification Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional truck or heavy vehicle driving experience is required. Additionally, one (1) year of experience in manual labor or warehouse work is required.

Education: Completion of primary school (5 years of education) is required.

Job Knowledge: The incumbent should have knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and security standards. Knowledge of maintenance and efficient usage of warehouse storage space, conducting inventory, and stacking items/equipment is required. Familiarity with local traffic laws, regulations, and in-country travel routes is also necessary.

Language: Limited knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking in English is required; good working knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking in Urdu is also required. English language skills may be tested.

Skills and Abilities: The incumbent should be able to perform physical work such as loading and unloading, handle heavy objects smoothly, and lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in using warehouse tools and safely operating equipment such as forklifts, hand trolleys, and electronic lifters is required. A valid Pakistani driver's license for Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) is required, with a minimum of five years of licensed driving experience. Skills and abilities may be tested.
