Job summary

University of Narowal (UON) invites applications for a Visiting Professor to deliver high‑quality teaching, support student learning, and advance departmental academic goals. The role includes lecturing, assessments, and maintaining academic records in line with university policies.

The incumbent will teach assigned courses, conduct quizzes and examinations, provide guidance to students, and engage in faculty development while upholding confidentiality and integrity in academic matters.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field is required and must be from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
• Fifteen years of teaching or research or professional experience in a postgraduate institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or international/national organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions as assigned.
• Prepare and update course outlines in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources.
• Conduct quizzes, assignments, presentations, mid-term, and final examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and submit grades within prescribed timelines.
• Maintain attendance and academic records accurately.
• Provide academic guidance and consultation to students during designated office hours.
• Utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Ensure compliance with the University's academic rules, policies, and quality assurance requirements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and faculty development activities when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all academic matters.
• Perform any other academic duties assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
