Job summary

The incumbent will develop course outlines, materials, and learning resources, conduct exams, and provide academic guidance during office hours, while using modern teaching methods and educational technologies.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent qualification recognized by the HEC.
• Ten years teaching or research or professional experience in a postgraduate institute or university recognized by the HEC or international organization.
• Ten research publications in journals recognized by the HEC, four within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions as assigned.
• Prepare and update course outlines in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources.
• Conduct quizzes, assignments, presentations, mid-term, and final examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and submit grades within prescribed timelines.
• Maintain attendance and academic records accurately.
• Provide academic guidance and consultation to students during designated office hours.
• Utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Ensure compliance with the University's academic rules, policies, and quality assurance requirements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and faculty development activities when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all academic matters.
• Perform any other academic duties assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
