Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking a Virtual Special Education Coordinator to oversee innovative services and ensure compliance for diverse learners in a state-of-the-art online environment. The role emphasizes leadership within the Administrative Staff and collaboration with teachers to enhance educational outcomes.

You will maintain student records, coordinate with agencies, and support professional development for staff while contributing to district-wide special education policy and practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and development of innovative special education services to meet diverse student needs and ensure quality of education and compliance.
• Contribute to the leadership team as an active member of Administrative Staff; assist in development and training of the total school philosophy of special education.
• Maintain compliance with state requirements and manage special education records and files.
• Collaborate with staff to improve standardized and proficiency testing results; assist in hiring and training of staff.
• Act as point of contact with agencies providing related services to students and manage contracts and agreements.
