Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who specializes in Instagram Reels, TikTok-style videos, and other short-form social media content. Your role will be to take raw footage (including AI product demos, client case studies, behind-the-scenes, and talking-head content) and transform it into high-converting, visually appealing videos that stop the scroll and drive engagement.

You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure every piece of content reflects Launchify’s brand, speaks to our target audience, and inspires action.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality, portrait-style short videos (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add dynamic captions, transitions, effects, and sound design to boost viewer retention.
• Optimize videos for social media algorithms, ensuring they are hook-driven and engaging in the first 3 seconds.
• Work with provided branding elements (fonts, colors, logos) to maintain consistency.
• Suggest creative concepts and editing styles that align with AI automation and tech-driven marketing.
• Deliver projects quickly while maintaining high production standards.
• Stay updated on trending formats, sounds, and editing techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, or similar short-form content (portfolio required).
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent editing tools.
• Understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and pacing.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, AI tools, or animated text overlays.
