Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a Unit Head - Monitoring and Incident (AVP / VP) under Wing Head - Information Security Operations and Threat Management. The role requires overseeing security event monitoring and incident response within a banking environment.

Educational qualifications include a local or international degree in CS/CE/Cybersecurity/IT, with certifications preferred. A minimum of six years in IT/Information Security with three years in monitoring or incident management is

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation in Computer Science and / or Computer Engineering and / or Cybersecurity and / or Information Technology from a local or international university recognized by HEC of Pakistan.
• Candidates having relevant professional certification(s) will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• To oversee monitoring of SIEM, EDR / XDR, SOAR, firewalls, cloud, network and application security events.
• To manage security incidents through detection, triage, containment, eradication, recovery and post-incident review.
• To establish and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, escalation procedures and communication protocols.
