Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Head Information Security Risk Management (VP/SVP) in Karachi. The role oversees information security risk management and regulatory compliance for the bank's operations.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in CS/CE/IT or cybersecurity, with at least 10 years of IT/InfoSec experience and 4+ years in risk management. Strong reporting to the executive board is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum graduation in CS/CE/Cybersecurity/IT.
• Masters in IT/CE or relevant certifications (CISSP/CGRC/CRISC) preferred.
• At least 10 years in IT or information security, with 4+ years in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive and board level cyber risk and information security reports.
• Participate in solution architecture, project reviews and risk management activities to address information security risks early in the lifecycle.
• Review security exceptions and risk acceptance requests in line with business priorities.
• Conduct Business Impact Assessments and qualitative/quantitative risk assessments and develop risk response strategies.
