Qualifications

Job description
Develops and implements the annual nursing education and training plan based on learning needs assessment, patient safety data, incident trends, and organizational priorities.
Develops and submits personal, unit, and departmental goals and objectives annually, aligned with strategic and quality plans.
Maintains and monitors staff credentials, certifications, and mandatory training compliance.
Collaborates with Clinical HODs, Unit Heads, and UHCNs to identify learning needs and develop evidence-based teaching modules.
Plans and coordinates in-service education, workshops, CNEs, simulations, and specialty training programs, ensuring all administrative arrangements are completed.
Participates in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives as a Facilitator or Team Leader, using audit and incident data to guide targeted education.
Conducts random clinical rounds to evaluate staff performance and compliance, providing structured feedback to Clinical Nursing Heads.
Organizes and facilitates Journal Clubs, Morbidity & Mortality meetings, Case Presentations, and Clinical Review Forums.
Maintains accurate education, training, competency, and attendance records to support audits, accreditation surveys, and performance appraisal.
Supports accreditation readiness, internal audits, and tracer activities related to staff education and competency.
Mentors and supports nurse Instructor, preceptors, and trainers, promoting continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
BScN, preferably Master’s in Nursing with 6-8 years of cl. nursing experience, as a Cl. Instructor NES including 3-4 years as a nursing supervisor in a large tertiary care hospital.
Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
BLS and ACLS certified.
