As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machinery to create precision parts and components. Your expertise in metalworking techniques and attention to detail will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metalworking machines such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications to determine the best approach for machining
• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that arise during the production process
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in metalworking field
