Job summary

MechaForce seeks an experienced Turner to join our Lahore team. You will operate turning machines to produce precision parts, interpreting blueprints and using micrometers for accuracy.

The role requires 2+ years of experience and the ability to work with steel, aluminum, brass and plastic in a full-time, on-site capacity in Lahore, Pakistan. Accommodation is provided along with a competitive monthly salary.

We are looking for an experienced Turner to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Turner, you will be responsible for creating precision metal parts and components by using machine tools and hand tools. You will work with a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and plastic to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate turning machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of the finished product
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are operating efficiently
• Work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, brass, and plastic
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar role
• Proficient in operating turning machines and other related tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Good understanding of different types of materials used in turning processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
