Turner - Skilled Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our growing team in Lahore. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to perform precision machining operations on metal components. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manual and computer-controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to determine machining requirements
• Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine settings to achieve the desired dimensions and finishes of machined parts
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, surface finish, and defects
• Troubleshoot issues with machines or tooling as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of manual and computer-controlled machine tools
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Lahore (without accommodation)
