Job summary

The Brown and Hurley Group in Darra is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose faults and carry out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work on Kenworth and DAF trucks. You will also train apprentices and support other workshop staff while delivering excellent customer service.

You will join one of Australia’s leading heavy vehicle and agricultural dealers with strong training facilities and a generous pay structure, including on-call and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Heavy vehicle mechanic qualification or any other mechanic qualification.
• Works safely, team player, excellent communicator and problem-solver.
• HR and forklift licence (desirable).
• Kenworth or DAF experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults
• Carry out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work (to your own capability)
• Check own work to ensure it is carried out to the manufacturers' requirements
• Help train apprentices and assist other workshop personnel
• Complete job cards correctly
• Participate in the on-call roster and attend offsite breakdowns

The Brown and Hurley Group are growing fast and want you to be part of our team in Darra. You will undertake diagnostics, maintenance, services, repairs, rebuilds and breakdowns on a range of Kenworth and DAF trucks.

What you'll be doing:
