Job summary

SIEHS in Karachi seeks a skilled AC Technician to service, repair, and maintain automotive air-conditioning systems in ambulances and fleet vehicles. This role ensures a controlled cabin environment for patients, crew, and onboard equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, gas charging, leak testing, and routine maintenance. You must coordinate with the Auto Electrician and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Matriculation with 3 S Workshop Certification or HVAC diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on vehicle AC repair experience.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

• Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle AC systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling coils.
• Carry out AC gas charging, leak detection, and pressure testing.
• Perform routine AC preventive maintenance as per fleet PM schedule.
• Replace worn components such as belts, filters, hoses, and seals.
• Coordinate with the Auto Electrician on AC-related electrical/wiring faults.
• Maintain accurate job cards, parts consumption records, and service history for each vehicle.
• Prioritize AC repairs given their impact on patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Support field/mobile workshop response for urgent AC breakdowns.

Qualification:

Matriculation with 3 S Workshop Certification / diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning (HVAC) preferred.

Experience: -
