ThoughtFocus is seeking a Treasury Operations professional with 3–7 years of experience to manage margin and financing processes, onboarding, and client delivery. You will work across margin methodologies, securities lending, and derivatives risk, collaborating with data sources like Reuters and Bloomberg, and enhancing reports with Excel/VBA/Python.

The role emphasizes end-to-end processes, stakeholder management, and strong analytical capabilities within a fast-paced environment in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience working in the Treasury with strong finance knowledge.
• Collateral management and financing agreements knowledge, including margin methodologies.
• Experience in securities lending/borrowing and portfolio financing optimization.
• Familiarity with data sources like Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit for treasury attributes.
• Strong derivatives product knowledge and risk management understanding.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Proven track record in delivering projects and improving processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and take on extra operational tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; VBA macros and Python are a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle margin calls and monitor short-term liquidity of funds.
• Understand margin methodologies across portfolio agreements and track internal margin view.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure.
• Onboard new clients by gathering requirements and showcasing capabilities.
• Manage stakeholders' expectations and communicate scope, issues, and changes clearly.
• Learn and enhance knowledge on the accounting platform and related domains.
• Perform data gathering, mapping, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and BAU setup.
• Collaborate with technology teams on projects, reports, specifications, and UAT.
