Job summary

ACE Money Transfer Limited is seeking a motivated Treasury Officer intern in Kharian, Pakistan. You will assist the Payout Side Operations Lead with daily treasury activities, cash management, funding, FX, and reconciliation in a structured learning environment.

You will gain practical knowledge of banking processes, payout operations and reporting, while developing attention to detail and confidential handling of financial data under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily payout-side cash balances and liquidity positions.
• Prepare payout funding trackers for review.
• Fund payout accounts on time within bank/currency cut-off times.
• Track allocation of funds to payout partners and flag issues.
• Support funding planning for weekends and high-volume periods.
• Monitor pending FX deals, wires and settlements and report discrepancies.
• Prepare payout-side reconciliation files and keep records accurate.
• Assist daily cash-flow and payout reporting.
• Follow maker-checker and four-eye controls; maintain confidentiality.
• Learn treasury processes under supervision.

About the Role

ACE Money Transfer is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Treasury officer to support our Payout Side Operations Lead in daily Treasury activities.

You will work under close supervision. Approvals, decision-making and bank relationships stay with the Payout Side Operations Lead, which gives you a structured environment to learn how Treasury works in a fast-moving international payments business.

The internship will give you practical knowledge of cash management, Treasury controls, banking processes and payout operations. It is an excellent starting point for a career in Treasury or financial operations.

Responsibilities

Cash, Liquidity & Funding Support

• Help monitor daily payout-side cash balances, funding requirements, liquidity positions, FX deals and wire settlements.
• Prepare and maintain payout funding trackers for the Payout Side Operations Lead to review.
• Help fund payout accounts on time, within bank and currency cut-off times.
• Help track the allocation of funds to payout partners and flag pending or insufficient balances.
• Support funding planning for weekends, public holidays and high-volume periods.

FX Deals, Wires & Settlements

• Monitor pending FX deals, wires and settlements, and follow up with internal teams as instructed.
• Identify and promptly report settlement breaks, rejected transactions, data discrepancies and other exceptions.

Reconciliation & Record-Keeping

• Prepare payout-side reconciliation files and supporting records for the Payout Side Operations Lead to review and approve.
• Keep transaction confirmations, bank records, settlement evidence and supporting documents accurate.

Reporting

• Help prepare daily updates on payout funding, partner balances, settlement status and pending items.
• Provide timely inputs for daily cash-flow and payout cash-requirement reporting.

Controls, Compliance & Learning

• Follow maker-checker and four-eye control requirements in all assigned activities.
• Follow approved Treasury policies, procedures, controls and escalation protocols.
• Keep bank balances, payment data, rates and other Treasury information confidential.
• Build working knowledge of payout operations, bank funding, FX deal support, settlement processes, reconciliations and reporting tools.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• A basic understanding of banking, payments, cash management or Treasury operations is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work accurately with data and reports.
