Job summary

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking a Trainee Mechanical Engineer to join our Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. You will assist with basic mechanical design for Oil & Gas projects and learn piping design, stress analysis, and equipment selection.

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience are encouraged. The role offers exposure to global projects, on-the-job training, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of piping design, piping stress concepts, and design reviews.
• Academic knowledge of static and rotary equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors).
• Internship exposure in Mechanical Engineering with a relevant final-year project preferred.
• Willingness to learn engineering software and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with basic mechanical design work for Oil & Gas projects.
• Learn piping design, stress analysis, and material selection activities.
• Assist and learn in the selection and review of mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, and compressors.
• Help prepare technical documents, vendor comparisons, proposals, and procurement-related information.
• Work with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors while following quality, safety, schedule, and cost requirements.

This role is pivotal in supporting Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to enhance the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas systems. What You’ll Lead And Deliver

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
