Job summary

People Perfect is seeking a Trade & Banking Executive to manage end-to-end trade finance operations, including LC processing, import/export documentation, and bank coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of hands-on experience in trade finance, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to support day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

• Process Letters of Credit (LC) including opening, amendment and closure.
• Prepare and manage import/export documentation in line with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Handle contract payments and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Prepare and verify shipment documentation to support clearance and delivery.
• Complete import/export filings and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with banks on trade finance transactions and documentation.
• Perform reconciliations of trade finance accounts and transactions.

The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of hands-on experience in trade finance and import/export operations, along with strong organizational and reconciliation skills to support day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Letters of Credit (LC), including opening, amendment, and closure in coordination with banks.
• Prepare and manage import and export documentation in line with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Handle contract payments and ensure timely, accurate processing in line with trade agreements.
• Prepare and verify shipment documentation to support smooth clearance and delivery.
• Complete import/export filings and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate with banks on trade finance transactions, queries, and documentation requirements.
• Perform reconciliations of trade finance accounts and transactions on a regular basis.
• Provide day-to-day support across trade finance activities to ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Import/Export Operations.
• Working knowledge of LC processing and trade finance instruments.
• Strong understanding of import/export documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Good coordination and communication skills for liaising with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reconciliations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular) and banking/trade portals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
