Job summary

Utopia in Karachi, Pakistan seeks a skilled Stores and Warehouse Manager to oversee daily textile stores operations, ensure timely availability of raw materials, production supplies, and finished goods, and maintain accurate inventory records.

You will supervise staff, conduct cycle counts, reconcile stock, manage ERP transactions, and produce monthly inventory reports while upholding SOPs, 5S, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Stores/Warehouse Operations, preferably textile/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of textile raw materials, accessories, consumables, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
• Hands-on experience in cycle counting, stock reconciliation, monthly closing, and ERP transactions.
• Good command of MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, SOP compliance, inventory controls, and warehouse safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day stores and warehouse operations across textile manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure timely issuance and availability of raw materials, accessories, packing materials, and production consumables as per production requirements.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verifications and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure daily production requirements are fulfilled with complete documentation and accurate system transactions.
• Monitor GRN, material issuance, transfers, returns, and other inventory transactions.
• Prepare monthly stock closing and inventory reports for Finance and Management.
• Assign daily tasks to store supervisors, staff, and labor and monitor their performance.
• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, inventory controls, and 5S standards.
• Monitor stores performance through KPI-based data, reporting, and evaluations.
• Identify inventory variances, operational gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
