Job summary

Huawei in Pakistan seeks experienced Multi-Vendor Telecom Datacom Planning Engineers / Team Leads to oversee design and delivery of IP/MPLS networks across metro to long-haul scales. You will manage HLD/LLD, perform capacity planning, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones.

The role requires hands-on experience with Huawei, Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, or ZTE IP systems, strong planning skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with multi-vendor telecom Datacom and IP transport systems.
• Strong analytical, project management, and vendor negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise datacom planning engineers to ensure timely delivery of network designs and milestones.
• Oversee HLD and LLD for metro, regional, and long-haul IP/MPLS networks.
• Analyze traffic patterns and forecast bandwidth demands.
• Manage CapEx planning, budget forecasting, BOMs, RFPs and tenders.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Define operational standards and drive deployment and monitoring improvements.
