Huawei seeks seasoned Multi-Vendor Telecom Optix Transmission Engineers / Team Leads across Pakistan to design, deploy and optimize optical networks. You will lead planning, oversee HLD/LLD for metro and long-haul networks, analyze traffic and forecast bandwidth, and manage CapEx and tenders.

Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential. Candidates should have 7+ years in telecom transmission, strong vendor negotiation abilities, and a solid background in DWDM/OTN/EMS monitoring.

Responsabilités

Job Overview

Huawei is looking for experienced Multi-Vendor Telecom Optix Transmission Engineers / Team Leads across Pakistan, with strong hands-on experience in multi-vendor telecom Transmission systems, including Huawei, ZTE, Nokia, Fiberhome and/or third-party equipment, particularly DWDM, OTN, PTN, SDH and EMS/NMS/monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise optical planning engineers to ensure timely delivery of network designs and project milestones.
• Oversee HLD and LLD for metro, regional, and long-haul optical transport networks (DWDM, OTN, FTTS, IPRAN).
• Analyze traffic patterns, perform link budget and span analyses, and forecast bandwidth demands.
• Manage CapEx planning, budget forecasting, BOM preparation, RFPs, and technical tender evaluations.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
• Define operational standards and drive improvements in network deployment and monitoring.

Skill Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Huawei and ZTE Optical TXN systems.
• Multi-vendor Optical network integration, Network Planning & Design, telecom site installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with Huawei, ZTE, Nokia & Fiber Home Transmission equipment preferred.
• Experience with Network Swap, Upgradation and Merger projects preferred.
• Strong command of link budgets, optical protection schemes, NMS platforms, and routing/MPLS integration.
• Experience with Zong, Jazz, Telenor, Ufone/PTCL, or similar operators preferred.
• Nationwide field/project deployment & planning experience preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, project management, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Qualification: B.E./B.Sc. Electrical, Electronics, Telecom Engineering or equivalent; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
