Qualifications

• Practical experience using Tekla Structures to model structural steel and pre-engineered building components.
• Ability to produce clear fabrication and erection drawings, assemblies, and accurate dimensions.
• Understanding of steel members, connections, shop detailing conventions, and drawing revision workflows.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design changes.
• Careful model and drawing checking, with strong attention to detail and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Create and update Tekla Structures models from engineering drawings, design information, and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings, including assemblies, connections, member marks, and relevant dimensions.
• Coordinate model information with engineering, fabrication, and erection teams to resolve drawing and detailing discrepancies.
• Check drawings and model outputs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with project requirements before issue.
• Revise models and drawings in response to approved design changes and maintain organized project files.
• Support material lists and other project documentation.
