Dongjian Steel Structure (Pvt) Limited is seeking a PEB Structure Engineer to support the design and engineering of steel building projects from initial requirements through fabrication and site erection, on-site in Faisalabad.

You will develop and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and connection details, coordinating with architectural and other engineering teams to ensure constructability and compliance with codes and project specs.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years in PEB design and related steel structures.
• Proficient with STAAD.Pro, ETABS and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and connection details for pre-engineered steel buildings.
• Coordinate building geometry, loads, framing systems, and interfaces with architectural and other engineering requirements.
• Prepare and check design documentation and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Work with drafting, fabrication and erection teams to resolve technical queries and address design changes.
• Review fabrication and site issues, provide practical engineering solutions, and maintain project records.
• Support quality, safety, and delivery objectives while coordinating with clients and suppliers.

Experience: 3–5+ years in PEB design (ETABS / STAAD.Pro)

Dongjian Steel Structure (Pvt) Limited delivers pre-engineered steel buildings, steel fabrication and erection services, electric single-beam cranes, pre-painted sheet panels, and PEB accessories. We are seeking a PEB Structure Engineer to support the design and engineering of steel building projects from initial requirements through fabrication and site erection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and connection details for pre-engineered steel buildings.
• Coordinate building geometry, loads, framing systems, materials, and interfaces with architectural and other engineering requirements.
• Prepare and check design documentation and shop drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.
• Work with drafting, fabrication, and erection teams to resolve technical queries and address design changes.
• Review fabrication and site issues, recommend practical engineering solutions, and maintain clear project records.
• Support quality, safety, and delivery objectives while coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams as needed.

This is an on-site engineering position based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, working with a team focused on steel structures and complete PEB project delivery.

Job Specification

• Strong knowledge of structural steel design and pre-engineered building systems, including primary and secondary framing.
• Ability to perform structural analysis and design checks for applicable dead, live, wind, and other project loads.
• Proficiency with structural design and drafting tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, or comparable software.
• Experience preparing or reviewing structural calculations, general arrangement drawings, shop drawings, and connection details.
• Understanding of steel grades, sections, bolted and welded connections, fabrication practices, and erection methods.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, technical specifications, quality procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, communication, and attention-to-detail skills; able to work effectively with fabrication and site teams.
