Job summary

GNO Partners in Pakistan is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to run day-to-day delivery while the CTO focuses on architecture and product direction.

You will split time between coding and team leadership, driving sprint plans, code reviews, and delivery quality to ensure high-impact features ship on schedule.

This player-coach role requires fact-based decision making, mentoring, and strong collaboration with the CTO to define the technical vision and hiring bar.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a software engineer with leadership experience.
• Deep TypeScript/Node.js expertise and ability to review NestJS/React code.
• Experience with high-volume data ingestion and analytics pipelines.
• Proven delivery leadership and ability to ship features end-to-end.
• Willingness to mentor teammates and align with CTO in private/public.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and sprint planning.
• Maintain code quality and production reliability of pipelines.
• Manage people: 1:1s, onboarding, growth conversations.
• Ship meaningful features early and build trust with the team.
• Collaborate with the CTO on architecture and hiring.
