Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Lead - Accounts & Finance to join our dynamic team. The Team Lead - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping practices and processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for learning and growth. As the Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our bookkeeping team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and maintaining strong client relationships. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of accounting professionals.
    • Assign tasks and projects, ensuring balanced workloads and timely completion.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates.
  2. Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor actual performance against budgets, analyze variances, and provide insights for corrective actions.
  4. Internal Controls:
    • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
    • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports prepared by the team.
