We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Systems Engineer to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team and take ownership of projects from concept to complete execution.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a strong Electrical/Electronics Engineering background, while also having a solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Product Design, Prototyping, and overall product development processes.
This is a leadership role for someone who can coordinate engineers, assign and manage projects, solve technical challenges, and ensure that every project is executed properly across all relevant disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, and Industrial Design teams.
- Understand project requirements and translate them into clear technical objectives and execution plans.
- Assign projects and tasks to relevant team members based on their expertise and workload.
- Coordinate closely with employees throughout the project lifecycle and ensure smooth execution.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial concept and requirements through design, engineering, prototyping, testing, and final delivery.
- Ensure mechanical, electrical, electronics, and other technical aspects of a project are properly integrated.
- Review project progress, identify technical or execution-related issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Guide engineers and designers on technical decisions and provide leadership where required.
- Ensure projects meet required standards of quality, functionality, performance, accuracy, and timelines.
- Coordinate between different departments to ensure proper integration of all project components.
- Review designs, prototypes, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
- Monitor project execution and ensure that assigned team members remain aligned with project objectives.
- Act as the primary technical leader responsible for ensuring the project is completed 100% from all required engineering and execution aspects.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and technical challenges before they impact project delivery.
- Communicate project status, major technical issues, and required decisions directly with the CEO and COO.
- Support management in technical planning, resource allocation, and project execution strategies.
- Establish and improve engineering processes, workflows, and project execution standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, product development, systems engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong preference for candidates with an Electrical/Electronics Engineering background.
- Strong working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Product Design.
- Practical experience with prototyping and product development is highly preferred.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Proven experience in team leadership, project coordination, and technical project ownership.
- Ability to understand and coordinate both mechanical and electrical aspects of a product.
