Job Type and Compensation

This is a remote full-time position, work-from-home role, but candidates must have a functioning webcam and microphone, with good reliable highspeed internet and a quiet environment for participating in daily standups, on-call handoffs, technical discussions, and remote desktop work.

Offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs125,000.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our technical operations team. You will apply deep technical expertise to solve complex infrastructure challenges, drive automation, and improve system performance, availability, and scalability. As a trusted engineer, you will influence technical direction and drive continuous improvement in systems operations and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

You will work across multiple technologies, contributing to architecture decisions and ensuring operational excellence. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in high-ambiguity environments, lead root-cause analysis efforts, and identify long-term solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for root cause analysis, tracking and improving operational metrics and SLAs, driving process automation, managing incident response, and creating high-quality documentation, KBAs and SOPs. We value engineers with a strong eagerness to learn—you’ll be supported with on-the-job learning and mentorship across multiple technologies and platforms.

We work with different tools and platforms to support operations, reporting, and collaboration:

  • ServiceNow – for ticketing, incident tracking, and change management
  • Jira & Confluence – for task tracking, documentation, and team collaboration
  • Alteryx – for data pipeline orchestration and transformation
  • Teradata – for large-scale enterprise data querying
  • Tidal – for job scheduling and automation
  • SQL Databases – for querying, maintaining, and troubleshooting system data
  • Visio & Lucidchart – for system architecture and process diagramming
Job Specification:

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of experience as a System Engineer and a bachelor's degree.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting SLAs and KPIs.

- Solid understanding of databases and SQL.

- Preferred hands-on experience with the technologies mentioned. (we can provide self-learning resources on the job).

- Proficiency in installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
