Job summary

Qualifications

• Education in Agronomy, Food Sciences, Agriculture or related field.
• Experience with farmers and rural communities.
• Experience in fruit procurement or agricultural supply chains.
• Knowledge of GAP, food safety and sustainability.
• Ability to analyze market intelligence and pricing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Teamwork and independence.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Advise farmers on GAP to improve quality and sustainability.
• Maintain relationships with farmers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new orchards for localization.
• Monitor market dynamics, crop conditions, pricing trends for sourcing.
• Conduct sustainability assessments and record-keeping.
• Support emission reduction and water conservation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards and codes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement targets.
• Maintain documentation on farmer engagement and procurement activities.
• Engage farmers to understand needs and provide timely solutions.
