Job summary

Ziauddin University invites applications for a Supply Chain Officer responsible for coordinating day-to-day procurement, receiving, and inventory management using Oracle ERP across stores and departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day supply chain activities including procurement, receiving, and inventory movement.
• Handle store and inventory operations with accurate recording and replenishment.
• Process transactions through Oracle ERP.
• Coordinate with suppliers and departments on POs, deliveries, and material needs.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure timely material availability.
• Verify received goods against POs and delivery challans.
• Maintain inventory records and perform stock reconciliation.
• Document all procurement, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with Stores, Procurement, Finance, and users for smooth operations.

Job Description

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day supply chain activities, including procurement, receiving, inventory management, and material movement.
• Handle store and inventory operations, ensuring accurate recording, storage, issuance, and replenishment of materials.
• Process and maintain supply chain transactions through Oracle ERP.
• Coordinate with suppliers and relevant departments regarding purchase orders, deliveries, material requirements, and supply status.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliation and physical counts.
• Monitor stock movement and identify shortages, excesses, slow-moving, or obsolete items.
• Ensure proper documentation of procurement, receiving, issuance, and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate with Stores, Procurement, Finance, and user departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Assist in preparing inventory and supply chain reports through Oracle ERP and other relevant systems.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls related to supply chain and inventory management.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Perform any other supply chain-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of supply chain, procurement, stores, and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or a similar ERP system.
• Strong inventory monitoring and record-keeping skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
