Job summary

Building Standards Limited is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our structural engineering team in Lahore. You will support structural inspection, design, analysis, and supervision of structural projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and delivering high-quality services.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in major design software, and a strong grasp of local and international codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred but not mandatory.
3–5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering consultancy.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Strong understanding of international and local design codes (ACI, ASTIM, AISC, EU, BS, or local standards).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in structural analysis, design, and detailing of RCC, steel, and masonry structures.
Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks as required.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Support senior engineers in project planning, documentation, and execution.
Provide technical input in tenders, proposals, and feasibility studies.
