Job summary

Creative Engineering Consultants seeks a Senior Structural Designer for our head office in Peshawar, Pakistan. You will perform structural analysis and design of bridges, flyovers, interchanges, and other highway structures, while preparing reports, drawings and construction documents.

You will lead design teams, provide mentorship, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers on major national and international infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with codes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred.
• Registration with a professional body is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design of bridges and highway structures.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, drawings and construction documents.
• Conduct modeling, finite element analysis, and optimization.
• Coordinate with highway, geotechnical, hydraulic and construction teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and lead design teams.
• Participate in project planning, reviews, and client meetings.

About Us

Creative Engineering Consultants is a leading engineering consultancy providing innovative and sustainable solutions in transportation infrastructure, bridges, highways, water resources, and structural engineering projects across Pakistan. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at our Head Office in Peshawar.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the structural analysis and design of bridges, flyovers, interchanges, underpasses, retaining structures, culverts, and other highway-related structures.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Conduct structural modeling, finite element analysis, and design optimization.
• Review and verify structural designs in accordance with international codes and standards (AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes, BS Standards, etc.).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including highway, geotechnical, hydraulic, and construction engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, client meetings, and technical presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred and highly desirable).

Registration with the relevant professional engineering body will be an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of proven structural design experience.

Demonstrated expertise in the design of:

• Highway Bridges
• Flyovers
• Underpasses
• Interchanges
• Retaining Structures
• Box Culverts and Other Highway Structures
• Experience on major national or international infrastructure projects will be highly preferred.

Technical Skills

Candidates must be proficient in the latest structural and bridge design software, including:
