Job summary

Mobiz in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a motivated Procurement Executive to own sourcing and purchasing end to end. You will build strong vendor relationships, evaluate bids, and ensure contracts align with business objectives.

The role requires 3–5 years of procurement experience, knowledge of Oracle or SAP Ariba, and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills in English. You will report to the procurement function and help drive cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Procurement Specialist, Procurement Executive, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, with the ability to read the market.
• Experience with procurement or supply chain management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP Ariba, or similar) and third-party/vendor management tools.
• Solid understanding of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong negotiation, decision-making, and numerical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle: requisitions, purchase orders, sourcing of goods and services, and order fulfillment.
• Evaluate bid proposals and vendor history to recommend award decisions and prepare assessment reports.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to keep costs within budget.
• Source and onboard vendors for IT hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and subcontracted services.
• Register deals in vendor, manufacturer, and distributor partner portals to secure special pricing, discounts, and deal protection.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contract, delivery, and service terms.
• Coordinate order delivery and shipping through third-party carriers where required.
• Track purchase orders and invoices through to payment, and process vendor payments.
• Maintain the procurement database, sourcing documentation, vendor records, and contracts.
• Analyze vendor and sourcing data to identify cost savings and process improvements.
• Support internal stakeholders on product selection, forecasting, and specifications.
