Contour Software in Karachi is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage monthly close, journal entries, accruals and financial analysis for business units.

You will lead forecasting, KPI analysis, and collaborate with unit managers; mentor junior staff and assist with audits. Ideal candidates have an accounting/finance degree, 3-5 years' experience, strong Excel and IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• MBA/BBA in finance preferred with professional designations.
• 3-5 years experience as senior financial analyst or similar role.
• Strong MS Excel and accounting software skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial accounting including journal entries, accruals and analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and income statements.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Lead quarterly forecast process with Business Units leaders.
• Compare actuals with forecasts to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Provide KPI and non-financial data analysis to highlight performance.
• Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
