Job summary

The National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi seeks a Learning Manager (AVP/VP) to lead training strategy and develop need-based programs for banking staff.

The role reports to the Director Staff College and requires senior-level training experience within banking functions, with strong communication and instructional design skills. Employment is contractual for three years with policy-based benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university recognised by the HEC of Pakistan.
• Masters degree and/or professional certification(s) will be preferred.
• Experience as in-house trainer or trainer in banking functions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and update need-based training programs and update existing courses as per different cadre of the employee.
• Structure the training program with lectures, group discussions and case studies to ensure practical understanding.
• Conduct training courses as per the training plans and assess understanding of the subject by trainees.
• Organize assessments, check papers and publish results.
• Research and design long-duration courses for newly hired and promoted staff.
• Organize seminars and workshops as per the training needs assessment.
• Prepare summary reports on trainees' feedback and evaluation.
• Implement innovative training delivery methods and evaluate program effectiveness.
