Job summary

Skydance in Hyderabad is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Data & Audience Platform. You will set technical direction, architect scalable data pipelines, and enable ML/AI capabilities powering our streaming and content services.

You’ll lead by example, mentor engineers, and collaborate with data science teams to productionize models, while upholding reliability and security standards. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic impact in a fast-paced, creator-first environment,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and shipping production-grade data platforms.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Cloud data infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP).
• Experience enabling ML/AI in production (feature pipelines, model serving).
• Track record of technical leadership and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture and design of large-scale data platform systems, pipelines, data lakes and serving infrastructure.
• Build the foundations that power AI/ML, including feature platforms and model-serving infra.
• Collaborate with data science and ML teams to productionize models and enable AI capabilities on the platform.
• Set technical standards and best practices in data modeling, system design, reliability, and applied AI.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy beyond the immediate team.
