Teradata seeks a Staff Cloud & AI Platform Engineer to own and build an enterprise-grade deployment and orchestration platform. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, SRE, and applied AI, enabling AI-driven deployment workflows across multi-cloud, on-prem, and customer environments.

You will contribute to stateful control planes, deterministic rollouts, and end-to-end automation, while mentoring engineers and shaping platform architecture across DevOps and CloudOps teams.

Qualificações

• Proven programming skills in Python with long-running services.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infra, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience applying SRE principles (SLOs, error budgets, automated rollback).
• Ability to design safe, auditable automation with AI or autonomous decision logic.

Responsabilidades

• Design a stateful deployment control plane with deterministic execution and rollback support.
• Build workflows reconciling desired vs. actual state using durable control loops.
• Support multi-cloud, on-prem, and customer environments with a single orchestration framework.
• Implement SLO-governed promotion gates, error-budget checks, and bounded retry policies.
• Embed AI-assisted decision logic into deployment workflows for anomaly detection and rollout control.
• Develop infrastructure and automation frameworks using Terraform, Python, and cloud-native services.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineers across DevOps, SRE, and CloudOps teams.
