Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking a senior finance professional to lead corporate accounting, general ledger and lease management for the CMPak group. You will own end-to-end financial reporting, support audits, and drive IFRS compliance across local laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing month-end close, consolidations, statutory statements, and liaison with regulators such as PTA. A Bachelor's with 6+ years of experience is required, with strong IFRS and lease accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in IFRS reporting and statutory financial statements.
• Experience with external and internal audits.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting.

Job description

Job Purpose:

• This role involves leading the corporate accounting, GL and lease management domain of Finance. This position will be end-to-end responsible for managing the day-to-day and periodic internal and external financial reporting, audits, book keeping of CMPak group along with managing other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and timely month-end closing process for CMPak group and to ensure that all revenue and expenses including accrual are properly accounted for and financial reports are submitted before the deadline set by CMCC.
• Ensure the achievement of EBITDA & Net Profit targets set by local management and CMCC.
• Supervise and finalize standalone and consolidated monthly and annual group reporting packs and statutory financial statements.
• Responsible for annual external audits, periodic internal and group audits along with applicable ICM compliance. This includes annual audit of financial statements, AJK & GB financial statements audits and royalty and other required certifications.
• Ensuring control over preparation and reporting of monthly balance sheet reconciliations of all finance domains and adding value through reviews and highlighting anomalies
• Providing advice/assistance on the application of IFRS, Group Accounting, and Local laws relating to financial reporting.
• Promoting quality enhancement in the books of accounts through detailed itemized breakdown of accounts to ensure authenticity of numbers reported and subsequent management review.
• Reporting of financial information to PTA & other regulatory and government bodies on periodic basis.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 for lease accounting
