Job summary

Adamjee Life is seeking a finance professional with 4–6 years of relevant experience to support IFRS 17 implementation, data validation, and regulatory reporting. The role focuses on system enhancements, UAT, and delivering accurate financial statements.

You will coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare management reports, and assist in month, quarter, and year-end closes. ACCA or CA Finalist preferred, strong analytical and IFRS knowledge mandatory.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in a finance function, including exposure to audits.
• Experience with IFRS 17 and financial reporting processes.
• Ability to coordinate data, prepare reports and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support IFRS 17 implementation, including system implementation and UAT.
• Coordinate finance system enhancements and automation for reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per standards.
• Prepare statutory, regulatory, and management reports for authorities (SECP, IAP, SBP).
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with journals and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors and provide schedules and docs.
• Assist in preparation of management reports and ad hoc analyses.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation and ongoing compliance of IFRS 17, including system implementation, UAT, data validation, and reporting. Coordinate finance system enhancements and automation initiatives related to financial reporting and IFRS 17. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare and coordinate statutory, regulatory, and management reports for submission to relevant authorities (SECP, IAP, SBP, etc.). Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide supporting schedules and documentation. Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial analyses, and ad hoc reporting requests.
