Job summary

Bestway Cement Limited seeks an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage AP processes in a Shared Service Centre environment. You will supervise AP Analysts, manage invoice processing for Wholesale and Retail models, and support the Manager-Accounts Payable with weekly reporting and KPI monitoring.

The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, a finance/Accounting degree (ACCA/ACMA considered), and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office. Evening shift 12:00–21:00 is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP accounting software and MS Office is preferred.
• Shift or working hours include 12:00–21:00 and ability to work in a Shared Service Centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the accounts payable function for the company within a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Supervise and provide functional support to AP Analysts, prioritising workload for internal stakeholders and international customers.
• Process invoices related to Wholesale and Retail business model.
• Assist the Manager-Accounts Payable in weekly reporting and monitoring to ensure SLA adherence and timely payments.
• Help implement a robust compliance process to ensure suppliers and internal customers understand and follow procedures.
• Ensure KPIs (weekly or monthly) are met and identify areas for improvement or new KPIs.

To assist the Manager-AP in the management and development of all the invoice processes. Assist inthe development of both people and processes for improvement. Ensuring thatthere is a clear progression plan for all staff and that our AP processes arebest in class.

Job Description

• Working in Shared Service Centre environment and is accountable tohandle the AP function for the company
• Supervise and functional support AP Analysts to prioritise workload andprovide support to both internal stakeholders and to our internationalcustomers
• Process invoices that relate to all aspects of the Wholesale and Retailbusiness model.
• Support the Manager- Accounts payable in producing weekly reporting andmonitoring to ensure all processing is in line with current SLAs and paymentsare made in an efficient and timely manner.
• Support the Manager to implement a robust compliance process to ensuresuppliers and internal customers are aware and support these processes toensure invoices can be processed efficiently.
• Ensure that all KPI’s (weekly or monthly) are met and work with the Managerto identify other areas the team can improve or put in place new KPI’s

Experience and Qualification

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in finance and accounting OR ACCA/ACMAqualified
• 04 to 07 years of relevant experience.

Specific Requirements

• Knowledgeof ERP accounting software is preferred
• Previousexperience at working within a similar AP function is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS.Office
• Advanced level understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts and principles
• Comfortable to work from 12 p.m to 9 p.m.
