Job summary

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its Pakistan office and seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to build a world-class testing environment. You will develop standards, discover and track bugs, and drive testing processes across microservices and mobile apps.

We value curious, driven professionals with Lean/Agile experience and strong test planning, defect management, and collaboration skills to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise class QA experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience in Defect management tools such as Jira.
• Experience in API Testing using tools such as PostMan.
• Experience in testing mobile App testing (Android and iOS).

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Discover bugs within software
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
• Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
• Perform manual and execute automated testing suites from Automation Team
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
• Be up to date with best practices and standards in Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high quality releases consistently
• Be proficient in creating Test Plans/Scope/Cases/Scenarios/Data etc
• Develop deep understanding of current functions of the application, development and release processes
• Review requirements and provide feedback
• Agreeing standards and defying quality procedures with QA team
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Maintains balance between exploratory testing and a scripted test plan

We are looking to hire skilled, curious and passionate Software Quality Assurance Engineer who wants to make a difference.

In this role, you will:

• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Discover bugs within software
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes

• Research and analyze product features being tested
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
• Be up to date with best practices and standards in Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high quality releases consistently
• Be proficient in creating Test Plans/Scope/Cases/Scenarios/Data etc
• Well versed with Defect Management Practices
• Develop deep understanding of all the current functions of the application , development and release processes
• Review requirements and provide feedback
• Agreeing standards and defying quality procedures in conjunction with other QA team members
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Maintains a balance between exploratory testing and a scripted test plan

Requirements;

• 3+ years of enterprise class QA experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
• Strong experience in manual Testing with latest trends and matrices
• Experience in Defect management tools such as Jira
• Experience in API Testing using tools such as PostMan
• Experience in testing mobile App testing (Android and iOS)
• High level understanding of applications built on Micro services/Event driver based architectures
• Good Skills in Database Testing
• Able to bring culture and take entire team to next level
• Expert in writing Test Plans, Cases, scenarios etc.
• Prior Lean, Agile and Scrum experience and Testing in agile context;
• Ability to accomplish timely delivery of projects in a fast paced tight deadline environment;
• High degree of problem solving skill and sound judgment a must.
• Must be a very driven, curious and creative individual.
• Excellent Leadership Skills, communication & interpersonal skills
