Khilari is Pakistan’s only platform (www.khilari.com.pk) that is established to focus on domestic sports of the country. Khilari Pakistan is aimed at facilitating the Sports Culture in the country by highlighting its sportsmen 'Khilari'. The site features Pakistani Khilari who represent the sports in Pakistan irrespective of the level they may be at. The website provides news, coverage of domestic matches and features written by some of the best sports writers. Khilari aims to promote domestic sports and players who are unable to make their presence felt due to lack of promotion by large scale media.

To achieve the above goals, we are seeking professionals with the required skills.

Job Specification

1. A sports enthusiast with knowledge and interest of different sports
2. Able to research, gather, write sports news and sports articles/expert opinion and report sports events.
3. Remotely interact with players, federations, organizations and relevant stakeholders for information gathering and promotion of Khilari platform
4. Interview sportsmen and relevant stakeholders in a range of different circumstances;
5. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of player profiles.
6. Work closely with news team, photographers and editors;
7. Online reporting of live or real-time transmission of news/information when covering important events.
8. Build contacts to maintain a flow of news
9. Seek out and investigate stories via contacts, press releases and other media
10. Create and publish news on the content management system.
11. Post social media updates and respond to comments and engagements.
