Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence seeks a skilled Solution & Proposal Engineer to join the Solution Centre. You will design, optimize, and propose control system solutions for RFQs across oil & gas, utilities, and energy. Lead proposals, review RFQs, and coordinate with sales and vendors to deliver competitive bids.

You will develop technical and commercial proposals, validate architectures, and maintain documentation while ensuring compliance with timelines and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 7–9 years experience in automation.
• Understanding of control systems and their applications.
• Experience in developing control system solutions and architectures.
• Experience creating BOMs and designs for PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA platforms.
• Knowledge of oil and gas standards (NFPA, UL, API, IEC).
• Familiarity with control system networks and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily proposal and presales activities to meet deadlines.
• Review RFQs and prepare SOW summaries for leadership and sales.
• Develop technical solutions aligned with client needs and project specs.
• Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
• Recommend optimal control architectures and obtain approvals.
• Create and maintain proposal documentation and templates.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotes and pricing.
• Prepare project cost estimates and pricing models.
• Maintain Master Proposal Database and costing sheets.
• Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify risks and document assumptions for the Solution Center Lead.
• Provide PQ support and assist with customer registrations.
